We are now looking for a Head of PR to strengthen our brand position and corporate reputation. This role will require both a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality and a qualified sense for strategy. You will shape and protect the Pophouse group brand in relation to key stakeholders, and support different business areas and sub-brands on issues ranging from media relations and marketing campaigns to crisis management. Who you are

 

  • Have previous experience from growth-oriented environments, a tier A communications firm and/or a fast-paced company

  • Are used to lead and implement missions and tasks related to marketing communications, corporate reputation and have a proven track-record of excelling in business-critical communications projects

  • Have great writing and presentation skills in both English and Swedish and a natural ability to work across international markets

  • Enjoys working in an iterative and feedback-intensive setting where speed, quality and impact are highly prioritized

  • Combines a great conceptual and strategic understanding with a hands-on approach and ability to spot and take advantage of PR opportunities in the news flow

  • Is comfortable working with different types of people in a cross-functional setting, towards a wide range of audiences

  • A great spokesperson and ambassador for the role and organisation you represent, both externally and internally

  • An informal leader with the ability to influence and inspire others

  • Since PopHouse is growing its global footprint - you need to sit on International PR experience /understanding

 

What you will do

 

  • Define, lead and execute PR initiatives within marketing, corporate communications and employer branding

  • Create communication plans with clearly defined objectives, key performance indicators, audiences and timetables

  • Coordinating rapid-response crisis communications

  • Develop PR-driven concepts and activities using both a creative and a strategic eye

  • Advising and coaching management team members on communications issues

  • Managing and developing media relations

  • Drafting and reviewing written deliverables such as press releases

  • Collaborating with specialists and colleagues within various positions in marketing & comms, often as lead, sometimes in a supporting or advisory role

  • Pitching key spokespersons to and producing content for events such as panel discussions and press conferences

 You will report to the Group Head of Marketing.
