The Barn is Arla’s in-house agency. We were created in 2018 to help Arla’s brands win in a world of increasing media complexity. Our growth and success have been tremendous, and today we are delivering full scale campaigns across many of Arla’s brands, from Arla Ko, Yoggi, Yalla, Svenskt Smör, Keso, and Kvibille cheese.

 

The Barn Sweden is part of Arla’s global in-house agency network that spans Denmark, England, Germany and Dubai. We are set up to function like an agency within the Arla business.  This means we have clients, briefs, budgets, and deadlines just like any other agency.  We create communication for various channels, from TV and social media campaigns to in-store materials and the content on the back of our milk cartons. How you will make an impact

As Head of Account Management you will play a key role in developing the Barn in Sweden and taking our work to new levels.  You will lead a team of four account leads, build and strengthen our relationships with senior client stakeholders, and collaboratively lead the agency as part of the Barn Sweden’s leadership team along with the Head of Creative and Head of Production. 

Key responsibilities:

·       Lead and develop the Swedish Account Management team. Creating a strong vision for client development, implementing consistent processes, and continuously building a passion for creativity.

·       Build relationships and a high level of trust with senior client stakeholders, including the Vice President of Marketing and the full marketing leadership team.

·       Lead yearly planning processes with the Marketing Leadership Team to allocate Barn time towards brands and projects to secure a strong project pipeline for the agency.

·       Take part in larger creative projects, consulting with the Account Lead, joining internal review meetings and client presentations, and helping to steer the client when needed

·       Collaboratively lead the Barn Sweden along with the Head of Creative and Head of Production.  Foster close collaboration across teams, a strong team spirit and agency culture, and set direction for development of the agency.

This role reports to the global Head of Account Management and Strategic Planning, who sits in France as a remote leader. You will join an international team of Account Management leads from across our agency locations in Denmark, UK, Germany, and Dubai.

 

What will make you successful


You have 10+ years of experience from the agency side (probably in a Client Director type role) or agency and the client side (as a Senior Brand Manager or Marketing Director) with extensive experience with and passion for brand and creative development.  You have a strong leadership track record, and have a proven ability in inspiring and developing others.

You possess a broad range of capabilities:

·       You have extensive knowledge and sense for marketing and brand building

·       You have a deep understanding of creative work and creative processes

·       You have strong experience leading teams and people

·       You have excellent communication and presentation skills.  You’re comfortable taking conversations on the spot. You build engaging presentations and present them confidently.

·       You are analytical. Comfortable working with numbers. Great at taking something complex and distilling it into something simple.

·       You’re a go-do type person. You see opportunities and make them happen.

·       You’re comfortable taking decisions and setting direction for a team.

·       You are fluent in Swedish and English
