Creative director to Pophouse

 


Pophouse creates, develops and acquires entertainment brands and concepts, in areas such as music, gaming, podcast and live performance. From ABBA Voyage to Space, Perfect Day Media and the company’s own investment arm, which is investing in music catalogues of world artists, the idea of Pophouse is to work with artists and audiences to create the pop culture of tomorrow.

The company is now looking for a creative director to build a best-in-class creative agency within the Pophouse organisation. This role is for someone who is both exceptionally skilled in the creative craft, with the ability to generate and develop groundbreaking ideas, and a team-builder, with a natural talent for leading and inspiring others.

We believe that you have 8+ years of experience from a tier A advertising agency or another form of integrated marketing/communications agency. You are internationally creatively awarded but more obsessed with the actual work than with winning awards. You are used to working in an international environment and doing international projects. You know how to develop foundational brand concepts, as well as creative activations.

At Pophouse, you get to work in a broad portfolio of brands and initiatives, with a degree of variety that is similar to working at an ad agency. At the same time, you get the consistency and long-term engagement that an in-house environment can offer. You will both work with developing the Pophouse group brand, and with portfolio brands (such as ABBA Voyage, Perfect Day, Swedish House Mafia, Space).

What you will do

  • Develop creative marketing concepts

  • Pitch marketing ideas to brands and artists within the group portfolio

  • Create and execute activations for major events in Pophouse’s activity

    pipeline

  • Attract, develop and retain exceptional creatives to the internal agency

  • Lead the development of internal ways of working for creative marketing

  • Work closely together with the Marketing Director and other CX-functions to

    develop ways of working for the overall marketing practice

Who you are/Qualifications

  • Having creatively led and executed extraordinary, international marketing

    projects

  • Experience from working with entertainment brands

  • A broad understanding of communication in paid, earned and own channels
